历史沿革[edit]
清顺治年间此地称葵坑保，康熙三十九年改名西坑保。民国29年归北岭乡，设查岭保；民国33年转属象牙乡。新中国成立初期成为第一区查岭乡，1956年10月划入石榴区。[2]
1958年9月属石榴公社查岭大队，1961年改隶城关公社。1984年9月划为城关乡下的查岭村；1988年5月城关乡撤入绥安镇，查岭村遂由绥安镇管辖。全村辖上辽、石壁、桥内、查厝、后、白楼、岭门与葵坑十个自然村，分设13个村民小组。[2]
