顶下草村是漳浦县绥安镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域最东端，靠近岩山北麓。村由顶草、下草两个自然村组成，东邻赤土乡万安村，西邻下梧村与万安农场，南邻大埔村。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

清代此地属七都的万安保。民国29年划归四股乡，民国33年与海乌乡合组浯江乡，原万安保的范围未变。新中国成立初期归第八区浯江区赤岭乡。[2]

1956年10月浯江区并入旧镇区，原赤土岭乡并入荷山乡，顶下草由此归旧镇区荷山乡管辖。1958年9月划入浯江公社，1961年转属城关公社。1984年9月为城关乡顶下草村，1988年5月城关乡并入绥安镇。村辖顶草与下草两个自然村，分设3个村民小组。[2]
