和平乡位于福建省漳州市云霄县西部，与国营和平农场共用一套领导班子。乡境东面以将军山与莆美镇接壤，西面隔着乌山山脉与诏安县红星乡相邻，南面连着常山华侨经济开发区，北面是下河乡。[1][2][3]

乡境多丘陵，适宜种果植林，出产枇杷、香蕉、荔枝、龙眼等水果，也产茶叶。全县最早开发种植「早钟六号」枇杷的，就是这个乡。[1][2]

乌山一带曾建立革命根据地，乌山革命旧址位于通贝、桥头两村境内，已列为福建省文物保护单位。[4][5]

历史沿革[edit]

1928年，红军和游击队开始在乌山一带开展活动；1934年，乌山革命根据地建立。[4][5]

1947年7月，地委机关又回到乌山驻地；1949年9月，闽南支队协同解放军攻下了漳州城。[4]

1984年，和平乡在原有农场建制的基础上设立；1995年9月，乡与农场政企分开，原属农场的场带村改归乡管辖。[6]

1996年，县境划分为6个镇、3个乡，和平乡是其中之一。[3]

2018年，原和平农场的作业区依据福建省农业厅等部门的文件（闽农垦〔2017〕119号）整合为社区，乡下辖的社区由此设立。[7]

地理环境[edit]

据县政府网站，乡场总面积111平方公里，其中山地约14.5万亩，耕地约1.7万亩。县道云太线贯穿全境。[1][2]

农业[edit]

农业以「早钟六号」枇杷和茶叶为两大支柱，此外有冠农葡萄园、坎顶大棚蔬菜等。[2]

燕顶茶叶基地和金山农业生态园（枇杷）均在乡境内。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

乌山革命旧址由中共闽南地委机关的多处旧址组成，其中包括电台室、前哨报社印刷所、炊事房、警卫哨、看守所、军械处、伤兵处等。[4][5]

乌山革命旧址于2009年11月公布为第七批福建省文物保护单位。[5]

宜谷径的「树滋楼」和河溪的「百年铁树」，是县政府网站所列的本乡本地资源。[2]
