杨美村位于马铺乡中部，村内残存土楼，其中乐善楼保存较为完整。[2]
地名由来[edit]
村建在溪流西岸的平坦处，原名洋尾，后以同音雅称为杨美。明代，何氏族人迁来定居，先建顶楼，后向南扩建三座楼寨，统称杨美。[3]
历史沿革[edit]
解放前此地属双地乡的杨美保，1958年组建生产队，隶属马埔公社，称杨美大队。1984年撤社设乡，大队改设村，驻地在新寨。[4]
名胜古迹[edit]
村内原有一个土楼群，多数已剩残垣断壁，只有乐善楼较为完整。乐善楼为圆楼，大门开在左侧，圆楼连厅共21间，大厅居中。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2024年1月，本村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
