客寮村位于云霄县西北部马铺乡的矾山脚下，以淮山为主导产业，耕地中淮山种植占比较大。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

古时村落靠近交通要道，居民多开设客店；山区缺少砖瓦，屋顶多用茅草，与当地的草寮相似，故称客寮。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前此地属双地乡的石寮保，解放初属第五区。1958年组建生产队，隶属卫星公社；1961年改属马铺公社；1984年撤社设乡，大队改设村。[4]

荣誉[edit]

2012年11月，农业部认定本村为第一批全国一村一品示范村镇，产品为马铺淮山。[1]

农业农村部于2020年11月公布的全国乡村特色产业亿元村名单中有本村。[1]

据博雅地名网，本村在2020年12月列入2019年度福建省示范村名单，产品为马铺淮山。[1]

2024年1月，本村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」；2024年2月，本村成为福建省乡村振兴示范村镇（第二批）的创建对象；2024年6月，列入福建省第四批高级版绿盈乡村名单。[1]
