龙镜村位于乡西南，在峰头水库中上游，是库区移民村、革命老区村。村内的太平庙为县级文物保护单位。[2][5]

地名由来[edit]

建村时缺少用水，村民请风水先生择地开井，在楼围内挖下几米深，挖出一块大石盘，风水先生说此处是龙镜穴，村名后来简化为龙镜。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

旧时属双地乡车墩保，新中国成立初归第五区车墩乡管辖。1958年划入卫星公社，1961年设马埔公社龙镜大队，1984年改属马铺乡。水库修建后村址被淹没，村委会迁往田埔，村名未改。[4]

名胜古迹[edit]

太平庙在大坪头自然村，创建于1388年（明洪武二十一年），供奉关帝，属木石结构。1992年，县政府将其列为县级文物保护单位。峰头水库建设时，该庙于1995年整体抬高三米，按原貌重修。[2][5]

油坑庵也列为村内的历史文物。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2020年12月，村庄被确定为福建省第一批高级版绿盈乡村；2021年11月，被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2024年1月，被命名为「2023年全国示范性老年友好型社区」。[1]
