青美村位于马铺乡南部，属库区移民村、革命老区村，村委会驻地在下楼。[1][3]

地名由来[edit]

驻地村内有一棵千年榕树，枝叶繁茂、遮天蔽日，村名原称青尾，后雅化为青美。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前属双地乡下的泮峰保，解放初划归第五区。1958年改属卫星公社，1962年转属新林公社，1966年并入马埔公社。1984年撤社设乡，大队改设村，本村属马铺乡。[3]
