宝洞村位于马铺乡东北部，属库区移民村，与平和县的安厚镇相邻。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村名的早先写法是罗婆洞，相传此洞为闽南十八洞之一，洞中曾住过法术高强的仙女罗婆。洞已毁坏，该地又多罗姓人家居住，后人将名字简化，并以谐音雅化为「宝」，改称宝洞。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
解放前此地属双地乡的埠福保，解放初属第五区的部福乡。1958年归卫星公社，1961年属新林公社的宝洞大队，1964年并入马埔公社，1984年撤社设乡，大队改设村。[3]
