瓦坑村处于火田镇东北，共2个自然村。它距镇政府8公里，距县城关约16公里。[1]
得名[edit]
古时此地设有瓷窑，产品有瓷器也有砖瓦，釉色鲜丽，因而被叫作「华窑坑」。后来以烧制砖瓦为主，遂改名瓦坑。[1]
沿革[edit]
1958年划入火箭公社，以瓦坑为名设大队；1961年拆社时转入火田公社；1984年由公社改乡，大队换成村委会。[1]
生产与古迹[edit]
村民以香蕉、枇杷、荔枝为主要作物，外出务工也是重要收入，人均收入8298元。村中有大湖恒升楼、瓦坑曙阳楼等清代建筑，地热资源丰富。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2020年1月，瓦坑村获评「漳州市2020年度市级一村一品示范村」称号，产品为青枣。[1]
2020年12月本村又入选福建省「一村一品」示范村名单，产品为台湾青枣。[1]
