村名由佳栋与官园两个村子合并而来，各取一字，合为佳园。[1]

沿革[edit]

1953年称佳园乡，1955年改为初级社，1957年改为高级社。1962年分出白泉、顶公、官园、佳栋四个大队，1964年又合并为佳园大队。[1]

生产[edit]

以农业为主，产出枇杷、龙眼、荔枝等。全村耕地4624亩，林地38506亩，农民人均收入3500元。[1]

交通[edit]

324国道从村中穿过，距沈海高速约15公里。[1]
