菜埔村在火田镇西南，下辖2个自然村。村内的菜埔堡是明代建造的堡寨。[1][2]

得名[edit]

唐代这一带是漳州郡的菜圃，远望绿意连片，像一块草坪，于是得名菜埔。[1]

沿革[edit]

1952年此地称火箭公社下的菜埔村，1958年改称菜埔生产大队，1984年重新设为村。[1]

古迹[edit]

菜埔堡建于明崇祯末年（1628—1644年）。堡墙用三合土夯成，呈椭圆形，周长约600米。[2]村中另有张士良故居、登仙宫和贞德垂芳坊。[1]

生产[edit]

村中以蔬菜、枇杷为主要作物，村民人均收入7300元。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2015年10月，菜埔村入选「福建省第一批省级传统村落」。[1]

2016年5月，菜埔村被福建省政府列为「第五批福建省历史文化名镇名村」。[1]

2016年12月，菜埔村被列入「第四批中国传统村落」名录。[1]

2020年1月，菜埔村获漳州市2020年度市级「一村一品」示范村称号，产品为韭菜。[1]
