油车村位于列屿镇的东北面沿海，旧名「梅安」，村名改为油车与旧时的榨油作坊有关。[1]
地名与地理[edit]
解放前此地是梅山的一个自然村，本名「梅安」。当地盛产花生，村内外建起不少榨油车寮，加工花生油的作坊周围住宅也渐渐增多，村民便以「油车」替代了旧名。[1]
村子隔海与东山相望，属革命老区村。村内包括油车、后岱两个自然村，分为9个村民小组，共674户。[1][2]
村域面积约6.2平方公里，森林覆盖率为51.8%；耕地750亩，山地6841亩，人口2686人。[1]
经济[edit]
村里依山傍海，发展虾池、巴非蛤、鱼排、鲍鱼和牡蛎吊养等海水养殖，并推行公司加农户的蔬菜种植和销售模式，发展大棚蔬菜与花卉种植。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2024年1月，「2023年福建省卫生村」称号授予油车村。[1]
