南山村位于列屿镇东北面，村名与当地的地形有关：古时此处有梅川大山和一处大坳，山位于坳的南侧，村子便建在山下。[1]

地理与交通[edit]

村子北与东厦镇相邻，西与云陵工业经济开发区接壤，南隔海与东山县相望，村庄总面积约0.4平方公里。[1]

村子离国道324线约2公里，离漳诏公路常山出口约13公里。[1]

人口与生计[edit]

全村辖9个村民小组，共326户、1237人，耕地约820亩，林地约1400亩，海域面积270余亩，以水稻种植和海水养殖为主业。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村子在1960年成为南山生产大队，1969年时称南山革命委员会，直到1984年起才改为南山村村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年2月，南山村在「福建省2018—2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单中上榜。[1]
