历史沿革[edit]
解放前村子隶属岱屿镇，解放初划入第三区，1958年成队，归海峰公社。1966年改由列屿公社管辖，1984年公社改为乡，大队改为村委会。[1]
地理与交通[edit]
村子距云霄县城23公里，521县道穿村而过，交通便利。[2]
村域耕地约1100亩，山地约2000亩。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2024年1月，「2023年福建省卫生村」称号授予城外村。[1]
