历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立后，村内先后成立初级社、高级社。1961年至1966年改为大队，辖本村及向北、佳兜、新楼、上埭等自然村；1979年分为阳下、向北、佳兜三个大队；1984年改设村民委员会，下辖上埭、新楼两个自然村，沿用至今。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
云阳方氏宗祠位于本村（旧称阳霞），由三组建筑组成，始建于明初，现存为清代建筑，2013年列为福建省第八批省级文物保护单位。[3][1]
荣誉[edit]
2015年10月，村入选福建省第一批省级传统村落。阳下村于2016年5月经福建省人民政府认定，列入「第五批福建省历史文化名镇名村」。2021年2月，村入选福建省2018至2020年度省级文明村镇社区名单。[1]
