礁美村在陈岱镇东南沿海，与东山县隔海相对。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村建在东山港海边，附近海面礁石众多、形状奇异，初称「礁尾」，民国时期雅化为「礁美」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明成化年间，施氏家族在此定居。[3]
1949年至1960年间称礁坑营，1960年至1984年为礁美大队，此后一直叫礁美村。[1]
经济[edit]
村以巴非蛤等贝类增养殖为主，并发展鱼排养殖、牡蛎吊养和鲍鱼苗培育等多种养殖方式。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2006年，村获「省级文明村」「精品村」称号；2007年，获「省级新农村建设示范村」称号。[2]
2020年11月，村获「第六届全国文明村镇」称号；司法部与民政部在2021年2月公布的第八批全国民主法治示范村（社区）名单中有礁美村；省爱卫办于2021年11月把礁美村命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
2022年9月，村被认定为「漳州市2022年度市级“一村一品”专业村」（巴非蛤）；同年12月，确定为「2022年度福建省“一村一品”专业村」。[1]
2024年6月，村入选「福建省第四批高级版绿盈乡村」名单；2025年3月，被认定为「福建省第一批省级乡村振兴示范村」。[1]
