地名由来[edit]
连姓始祖自漳平白泉而来，在龙潭溪、白帆溪与白泉溪的汇流处落户，村名因此定为江都。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据百度百科，此地早在南唐保大十三年（955年）即已设建制。[2] 1958年成为江都大队，1984年改为江都村村民委员会。[1] 2008年，村子划归林墩工业区管辖。[2]
地理环境[edit]
村子位于长泰区东北部的林墩谷盆之中，境内多山，花岗岩与九龙璧等矿产资源较多。戴云山余脉延伸出峡谷地貌，龙潭坑瀑布群与江新水库则是两处自然景观。[2]
经济[edit]
村内经济以石材开采加工为主，主要产品有「林墩红」「长泰芝麻黑」等花岗岩，并曾销往日韩及欧美。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
村内的玉珠庵始建于1304年，清代重修，为县文物保护单位。[3]
