后坊村属马洋溪生态旅游区管辖，地处旅游区中心，旧称「后边」，2006年并入其中。[1][3]

地理环境[edit]

村庄群山环抱，溪流绕村，梯田成片，花果飘香。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中古樟众多，据称两棵千年古樟分别位于枧头社与后边社。后边社的一棵古樟横卧于地，树干粗大，仍然枝叶繁茂。[2]

其中一株千年古樟被村民尊为生态之神，称「大树将军」；每年农历三月十四，村民前往朝拜，祈求风调雨顺。[2]

村内上庙自然村有一株老铁树，据福建省林业部门一位专家按胸径推算，树龄四千余年，被认为是目前已知福建乃至全国最古老的铁树。[2]

八联瀑布群是后坊的天然景点，九龙瀑布群尚未开发。[2]

民居与果园[edit]

村中民居按统一的要求改造，外墙刷白，加装红色斜屋顶，保留了闽南风格的建筑形式。[2]

村中满山桃李，春季花开时节有「桃花岛」之称；每年4至5月李子成熟，游客可入园采摘。[2]

经济与文化[edit]

村庄以农业和旅游业为主要产业。村内有龙人古琴文化村，该村入选「国家文化产业示范基地」。[3]

2019年，村庄入选「第一批国家森林乡村」，据百度百科所载。[3]
