历史沿革[edit]
据百度百科，山重村的历史可追溯至唐朝，村中现存多处各级文物保护单位；博雅地名网则称该村有八百年左右的历史。[3][2]
村庄获得的称号有：「中国传统村落」「国家金牌旅游村」，据区政府网站所载；「福建省历史文化名村」，据百度百科所载；2019年入选「首批全国乡村旅游重点村」，2020年获评「省级一村一品示范村」，并被认定为「国家生态示范村」「全国特色景观旅游名村」。[1][3]
名胜古迹[edit]
村中古民居错落有致，多为卵石砌筑，布局曲折如迷宫。村头立有一棵千年古樟，村民视之为守护神。[2]
村中建于明嘉靖年间的一座宫庙供奉保生大帝吴真人，建筑形式变化多样。[2]
一座七层古石佛塔历经八百余年仍然屹立，是闽南佛教中少见的古建筑遗址。[2]
溪流穿村而过，溪道称水云涧，两岸散布古樟与红榕。[2]
