旺亭村属马洋溪生态旅游区管辖，村址在天柱山山麓。全村由旺头、亭下、新村、奎母岫四个自然村组成。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村庄于2000年由四个村民小组合并而成，其中包括旺头和亭下；这次合并服务于皮划艇激流训练基地和天柱山森林公园的建设。[2]

村庄获评「全国一村一品示范村」「福建省乡村旅游特色村」等荣誉称号。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

村内有朱一贵故居，还有天柱山小南城隍庙等文化资源。[2]
