石室村在陈巷镇西部，东面是长岭山，西侧傍着龙津溪，离县城7公里，下辖7个自然村和17个村民小组。村中的杨氏宗祠世德堂，是县级文物保护单位。[1][2]

地名与沿革[edit]

村名由石氏始祖在此开基的石楼而来。村初称石厝，后由杨姓始祖迁来定居，仍沿称石厝；民国年间改称石室。[1][2]

1958年成立石室大队，1984年设立村民委员会。[1]

文化遗存[edit]

2004年8月，杨氏宗祠世德堂被定为县级文物保护单位；宗祠建于明代成化年间。村中历史上有文武举人等28人。[1][2]

2017年8月，入选福建省第二批省级传统村落名录。[1]

人口与产业[edit]

全村918户，人口3236人，共有党员116人。[1]

自1999年起，村里发展食用菌，蘑菇种植面积已达30万平方米以上；2009年起引进的园艺企业以玫瑰花种植带动周边农户，全村目前有玫瑰100亩。村中另有温泉资源可供开发旅游。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

2022年12月，获「2022年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]

2023年9月，获认定为「漳州市2023年度市级“一村一品”专业村」，产品为水稻。[1]
