渐山村位于东泗乡西南，村前是南溪，村后背靠渐峰山，隔水与漳浦县相望。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名源于渐峰山，村子处在山水之间。[1] 村子又名巳山，由上渐山、下渐山两个自然村组成。[1]

1947年，渐山村归海澄县康乐乡的渐山保。1993年，改设为龙海市东泗乡渐山村委会。[1]

渐山村获得福建省森林村庄称号（2021年12月）；此前，它在2019年6月已被收入第五批中国传统村落名录。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

下渐山社中央的敦睦堂俗称大宗，据博雅地名网由渐山定居祖李静隐于元代建造。它是一座二进的土木建筑，面积三百多平方米，门前有石埕，并立着十二座花岗岩旗杆（现已有损坏）。[2]

上渐山社尾有一座方形土楼，分内外两楼，共三层，土木结构。明末由李浦文之子主持建造，外层楼已塌毁，内楼也有损坏。[2]
