港边村是东园镇下辖的行政村。村名来自港道交错的地形，村落位于大港边，故名港边。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国末年，村地属峩山乡的港边保。1952年划入海澄县第五区，同年改隶厚境乡；1956年改属城关区厚境乡。[1]

1960年起，它归龙海县浮宫公社，成为港边大队；1961年由东园公社接管。1984年，它是东园乡的港边村委会，1993年改隶东园镇。[1]

文化[edit]

2022年，港边村被评为「2022年度福建省乡村振兴实绩突出村」；同年10月，它又列入福建省农业农村厅认定的第二批乡村治理示范村镇。[1][2]

进入2024年，港边村于2月列为第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇的创建对象。2025年11月，村里一并获得三项认定：福建省第二批省级乡村振兴示范村；「福建省2025年度省级“一村一品”专业村」（主营高优蔬菜）；以及「2025年漳州市乡村“五个美丽”建设工作成效突出村」。[1]
