世甲村地处乌礁岛、九龙江中港下游，属紫泥镇管辖，村域约0.7平方公里，住着288户、1180人。村子北面隔着中港海堤与对岸相望。[1][2][3]

全村为一个自然村，内分六个角落，钱厝、大厝、头厝、厝仔、庵前与土楼。[1][2]

地名与沿革[edit]

闽南话里“世”与“四”同音，据百度百科，村名源于围垦而成的四甲聚居地。[3]

清代时本地划在龙溪县乌礁保之下，称世甲社。民国28年转入石码区的合作乡，民国36年又改属乌礁乡。[2]

1961年，村子从锦田大队中分出，单独设为世甲大队。1984年建乡后称紫泥乡世甲村，1992年撤乡建镇，改称紫泥镇世甲村。[2]

姓氏与宗祠[edit]

村中黄姓占大多数。黄氏先祖黄守恭唐代入闽，后裔中的黄四安一支分衍到本村。[2]

黄氏宗祠四安紫云堂建造于清雍正年间，时间约在1717年前后，大厅内挂着一块“枢天楃权”的牌匾，系庚子科举人黄玉树所题。陈氏宗祠颖川堂同样始建于清雍正年间，民国36年重修。[2]

宫庙[edit]

统安殿的初建在清雍正年间，约1728年；道光己丑年（1829年）重修过一次，正殿供奉玄天上帝，旁边配祀蔡妈夫人与伽蓝尊王。[2]

宣济宫在村子西部，原本祀奉保生大帝。保生大帝神像曾暂迁统安殿，1945年以砖木结构重建，2002年扩建成宫亭式庙宇。[2]

土地与生计[edit]

耕地约700亩中，有410多亩改为养殖白对虾。村中另有内海养殖、捕捞和蘑菇种植。[2]

村中有一所小学，1990年新建二层教学楼。[2]
