上溪村是颜厝镇下辖的行政村。林、蔡两姓在明代开基立村，村址靠近上半林的大溪，故名上溪。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1947年，村地归龙溪县古南乡上溪保管辖。1956年隶属古县区蔡坑乡。[1]

1993年起，村委会称龙海市颜厝镇上溪村委会。[1]
