庵前村是颜厝镇下辖的镇中心区村。村位于古县一座大庵的前部，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1939年，村地归龙溪县古林乡庵前保管辖。1952年起隶属龙溪县第一区古县乡。1974年，颜厝公社单设庵前大队。[1]

1993年起，村委会称龙海市颜厝镇庵前村委会。[1]
