名称来历[edit]
岛上缺少淡水，早先有「无水之屿」的说法，因而称「无屿」，后取其雅称「浯屿」。[1]
浯屿岛与海防[edit]
洪武二十一年（1388年）这里设立浯屿水寨，负责防卫漳州、泉州两府。岛上现存延平炮垒及一段城墙残垣，是明清时期漳厦一带的海防要塞遗迹。[2][3]
岛上的天妃宫是民间信俗的中心，保留着明代抗倭碑刻与清代御祭匾额。每四年一次举办王醮庆典，届时制作可以航行的木船并送王船出海。岛上另建有海岛博物馆，陈列海防、渔业与红色文化的资料。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
1947年，此地是海澄县港尾镇太武乡的一部分。1952年改入海澄县第六区，设浯屿乡；1955年8月转归港尾区，仍称浯屿乡。1958年划入红旗公社。[1]
两县合并后，浯屿成为龙海县港尾公社的浯屿大队。1984年，港尾乡下设浯屿村；1988年乡改镇，村名随之为港尾镇浯屿村；1993年称龙海市港尾镇浯屿村委会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2024年6月，浯屿村列入福建省第四批「高级版绿盈乡村」名单。[1]
