深沃村位于港尾镇东部，村子面向厦门，濒临深水海湾。据博雅地名网，村子所在一带是招商局漳州开发区“四区”深水码头群的建设地。[1]

名称来历[edit]

村子临着厦门对岸的海边，三面环山，海湾天然凹进，能挡风避浪，因此称深沃。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1947年这里属海澄县镇海乡的深沃保（亦作深坞）。1952年划入海澄县第六区，1955年8月改归港尾区。1958年撤区并乡时，这里组成深沃高级社，同年9月隶属红旗人民公社。[1]

1960年两县合并后，它归龙海县港尾公社，为深沃大队。1984年，港尾乡设深沃村；1988年改为港尾镇深沃村；1993年称龙海市港尾镇深沃村委会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年12月，深沃村列入国家林业和草原局公布的第二批「国家森林乡村」名单；2021年2月，列入「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单；2023年2月，列入福建省第三批「高级版绿盈乡村」名单；2023年9月，被认定为「漳州市2023年度市级一村一品专业村」，主打篮子鱼。[1]
