历史沿革[edit]
清顺治年间，这里有沙坛保与田墘保。民国三十六年（1947年）分为七保，同属青浦乡。[1]
1950年代，村子在浮宫区与港尾区之间数次划转。1958年4月撤区并乡后设沙坛乡，同年9月撤乡建制；1959年2月改属港尾人民公社，为沙坛大队。1984年10月，港尾乡设沙坛村委会；1989年2月乡改镇，此村委会随之归港尾镇。[1]
