石埠村是港尾镇下辖的行政村。村名出于早先海边的一片石头埠：此地原无人居住，船只常在岸边停靠，南宋末年江氏一支在此开基立村，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1947年这里是海澄县港尾镇的石埠保，新中国成立初设第三区石埠乡。1958年4月改属港尾乡，同年9月并入火箭公社。[1]

1959年2月，这里成立港尾人民公社的石埠大队；两县合并后，石埠大队归龙海县港尾公社。1984年，港尾乡设石埠村；1988年乡改镇，村名随之为港尾镇石埠村；1993年改为龙海市港尾镇石埠村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年2月，石埠村被确定为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」创建对象。[1]
