下叶村位于漳州市龙海区程溪镇，是镇内的一个行政村，在地名分类上属镇中心区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明朝年间，叶姓祖先由同安县迁来，村以姓氏为名。村中分为顶、下两社，本村位于下社，故称下叶。[1]

旧属南靖县程塔乡下叶保；新中国成立初为南靖县第六区下叶乡。1957年改属龙溪县，称程溪区下叶乡；公社时期为程溪公社下叶大队，1960年并县后仍属程溪公社。1988年起为程溪镇下叶村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2022年10月，村庄经省农业农村厅认定，列入「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。同年12月，省绿化委员会将其命名为「2022年福建省森林村庄」。[1]
