八坑村位于龙海与漳浦两县交界的山区，在浮宫镇下辖，是全镇海拔最高的行政村，距镇政府所在地约10公里。全村辖8个自然村，设10个村民小组，共435户、1724人。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

相传历史上此地出过八位大官，故名“八卿”，后改称“八坑”。[2]

地理环境[edit]

村址位于白水、港尾、浮宫、前亭四镇山脉交界处，地势险峻。村域东邻丹宅村，西与白水镇方田村为邻，南端抵漳浦县境，北面与溪山村相接。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

旧属海澄县浮宫乡，乾隆至宣统年间名“八卿”，其后改为“八坑”。1952年设二区八坑乡，1955年归浮宫区，1956年7月改隶城关区。1959年设八坑大队，1988年定名浮宫镇八坑村，1993年设立村委会。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2012年度，八坑村被评为「优美乡村」。[2]

2025年11月，八坑村入列「福建省2025年度省级一村一品专业村」，产品为杨梅。[2]
