庄林村是白水镇的行政村，与井园、磁美、下田、金鳌等村相邻。村名由早年居住在此的庄姓与林姓两族得来。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1940年前属漳浦县松庄乡的庄美保，新中国成立初年隶属漳浦县第三区磁美乡；其后划归海澄县，1959年归浮宫公社磁美大队。[3]

1960年为龙海县白水公社的庄林大队；1984年起称庄林村，1993年龙海改市后，村委会改称龙海市白水镇庄林村委会。[3]

2022年12月，村获评「2022年福建省卫生村」。[1]

村民以养殖业和绿化苗种植为主。[1]
