鸿渐村在镇境东南，靠近九龙江北港入口。东侧与金山村为邻，西侧接桥头村，南面濒临北港。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村旁一座山的形状像鸿雁渐渐落地，于是村名鸿渐；俗称黄渐尾。[2]
沿革[edit]
鸿渐是一个千年古村，晋太康三年（282年）设置同安县时即属其地。1940年（民国二十九年）村属角美乡，乡内设鸿渐保。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2025年3月，本村被认定为「福建省第一批省级乡村振兴示范村」。[1]
