沙坂村位于角美镇东南部，地处九龙江下游，北邻角江路凤山工业园，角江路、中闽大道与同城大道穿村而过。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村子坐落在九龙江下游北港的沙滩边，故名沙坂。[1]
沿革[edit]
1949年设立沙坂农会，1950年划归第七区沧里乡，1958年并入角美人民公社埔美大队，1960年以龙海县角美公社沙坂大队的名义运作，1984年定名为龙海县角美镇沙坂村。[1]
非物质文化遗产[edit]
村中的传统武术「宋江九洲八卦阵」在闽南一带有名气，已列入非物质文化遗产项目。[1]
