埭新村是福建省漳州市龙海区海澄镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域东部，北面临近九龙江，面积4.5平方公里。[1]
地名与沿革[edit]
村子由海滩围垦成埭后建起，村名取自两处旧村名各一字的组合。[1]
民国时期属海澄县城关镇的谢仓保，解放后为海澄县第一区的埭新乡。1951年，东河乡办公地点迁往东河；1952年，东河乡改为埭新乡，当时归第五区。[1]
1955年下半年办起农业合作初级社，1956年并为群勇高级社。[1]
1959年归莲花公社化后的埭新大队；1960年撤县后归龙海县莲花公社埭新大队。1984年村名变为龙海县海澄镇埭新村，1993年起定名龙海市海澄镇埭新村委会，沿用至今。[1][2]
