下埭村是福建省漳州市龙海区海澄镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域西南部，面积2.6平方公里。[1]
地名与沿革[edit]
清初，苏氏在此围海筑埭，建起村庄，村名由此而来。[1]
民国时期属海澄县城关镇合浦保，解放后为海澄县第一区合浦乡，1959年并入莲花公社化的下埭大队。[1]
1955年12月，村里成立星光初级社，次年并为星光高级社；1958年公社化时组成星光营，1959年改为曙光营。[1]
1960年撤县后归龙海县莲花公社下埭大队，1984年村名变为龙海县海澄镇下埭村，1993年起定名龙海市海澄镇下埭村委会，沿用至今。[1]
