和平村是福建省漳州市龙海区海澄镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域西部，面积6.7平方公里。[1]

地名与沿革[edit]

明代有何氏落户于此，开基的平地在群山之间，故称何平。何氏离开后卢氏迁来居住，两名读音相近，于是改名和平。[1]

民国时期属海澄镇山后和平保，解放后为海澄县第一区的和平乡，1950年仍设一区和平乡。[1]

1959年，村子归莲花公社化后的和平大队；1960年撤县后归龙海县莲花公社和平大队。[1]

1984年村名变为龙海县海澄镇和平村，1993年起定名龙海市海澄镇和平村委会，沿用至今。[1]

地理与人口[edit]

村域面积6.7平方公里，耕地1095亩，有513户、1992人，设4个村民小组。[1]
