蔬菜村位于漳州市龙海区石码街道镇区中心，是一个城中村。村名取自村民以种菜为主。村民原是分散居住在石码镇新仙、甘棠、义龙三条街的贫民。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期，村民分属龙溪县石码镇的各保。1952年土地改革后，村民分得田地并组织起来，编为三个片九个小组。[1][2]

1958年设蔬菜大队，此后1966年改名五七大队，1981年又复为蔬菜大队。1984年，它称石码镇蔬菜村；1993年起，设为龙海市石码镇蔬菜村委会。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

南台庙主祀汉闽越王无诸，1956年因兴建医院被拆除，1993年由村民筹资在南台庙巷重建。[3][4]
