紫光社区位于漳州市龙海区石码街道，名称取自石码市区一环路。社区1985年定名时隶属紫云居委会，2003年改为现名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1985年7月起，这里的居委会以紫云为名，属龙海县石码镇。2003年，它更名为紫光社区居委会，隶属龙海市石码镇。[1]

整合时，原辖的英厝村居民区划归人民西社区管理，石埔头居民区划归新组建的紫云居委会管理，此后沿用至今。[1]
