新街社区是福建省漳州市龙文区郭坑镇下辖的社区，位于镇区，属主城区。[1]

社区名称来自成立之时的情况：成立时正值街道新设，故得此名。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

新街一带原属龙溪县郭坑乡的阳武、国卿两保，解放初划入龙溪县第六区郭坑乡，公社化时归卫星公社。[2]

1960年并县后，这里成为龙海县郭坑公社的郭坑镇；1984年称龙海县郭坑镇新街居委会，1997年划归龙文区郭坑镇。[2]

2003年4月，新街居委会与郭坑镇水上居委会合并，此后名为郭坑镇新街社区居民委员会。[2]
