地名由来[edit]
村前一条河道绕村而过，当地称之为湘江；过去江上有一座桥，供学童走到对岸的私塾，村名由此而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1997年，湘桥村属龙文区蓝田镇。2018年11月蓝田镇改设街道，同年12月湘桥村改为社区；百度百科则记为湘桥社区于2018年由湘桥村改制设立。[1][2]
据百度百科，湘桥社区2007年被列为省级历史文化名村。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
村内有十余座清代至民国初年的古厝，依次排列，其中大夫第始建于清康熙年间，是进士黄金钟的故居。[3]
华佗庙据快懂百科所载，是福建省内唯一供奉三国名医华佗的庙宇，大约始建于明末清初，当地人称华佗为「华元仙祖」。[3][4]
