步文社区位于福建省漳州市龙文区，属步文街道管辖。街道与社区的名称都源自此处，昔日的步文村即在这里，此地也曾是旧步文镇政府的驻地。[1][2]

地名[edit]

土改之后，此处先后作为工作队驻地、乡政府、人民公社及镇政府的办公所在，因而得名。村改居后，仍沿用「步文」之名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代，此处原称赤岭步文祠，官府曾在此修建祠堂并设私塾；民国时开办小学。[1]

1960年左右，此地设步文大队；1997年改属龙文区步文镇。2018年，步文村改为步文社区。[1]

文化[edit]

玄坛宫的正一灵宫原有一尊肉身佛，俗称「和尚干」，清宣统三年被人带往日本，现供奉于东京总持寺。[2]

社区所辖的赤岭关帝庙位于霞店美内社，始建于宋仁宗年间，详见街道条目。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，步文社区被命名为「2023年福建省卫生社区」。[1]
