石仓社区位于福建省漳州市龙文区，属步文街道管辖，处在漳州市新城中心区东部，东侧与九龙江支流九十九湾相邻。社区前身为1960年前后设立的石仓大队。[1][2]

名称[edit]

相传明代林嘉成公自莲池社（今步文村莲池尾）迁来此处开基，当时以石垒墙为仓为屋，村名由此得来，即「先以石为仓」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前，此地称东门外东乡石仓社，由数处小聚落组成。1960年前后设为行政村，辖8个自然村。[1][3]

1984年，此处设石仓村委会；1997年划归龙文区步文镇。2003年10月，村内一部分地域析出，另设石仓社区。[1][3]

2016年8月，步文镇改设街道，石仓村委会改称步文街道石仓村委会。2018年6月，步文村被撤销，原石仓社区与之合并，重组为新的石仓社区居民委员会。[1][3]

名胜古迹[edit]

永兴堂石造像位于社区辖区内，为明天启五年（1625年）雕刻的五尊石佛，列为福建省文物保护单位，详见街道条目。[1][4][5]

荣誉[edit]

2021年2月，石仓社区列入「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单；2024年1月，社区被命名为「2023年福建省卫生社区」。[1]
