埔里村的村名来自当地地势平坦开阔的特点，村民以种养业和水果销售为主要收入来源。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
旧时此地称埔里保，此后又设埔里乡。1960年人民公社成立后称埔里大队，1984年改设埔里村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
村里的蔬菜基地已取得无公害蔬菜基地认定，产品也经农业部门的质量认证。[1]
文化[edit]
2020年1月，村子被认定为「漳州市2020年度市级“一村一品”示范村」（蔬菜）。[1]
