墨溪村在天宝镇境内，村名的来历与村边小溪的颜色有关。[1]
地理环境[edit]
相传此地从前文风鼎盛，文人众多，笔砚常在村边小溪中洗涤，久而溪水呈墨绿色，村子因此得名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明清时期村子是龙溪县廿一都的墨溪社，民国时始设墨溪乡。历代有多人登科及第，村中至今仍保存若干宗祠和石旗杆。[1]
1958年划入龙溪县星火公社；1961年起归天宝公社（漳州市）；1984年起属天宝镇。[1]
文化[edit]
2024年1月，村庄被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」；2024年6月，村庄入选「福建省第四批高级版绿盈乡村」名单；2025年11月，被确定为「2025年漳州市乡村振兴实绩突出村」。[1]
