天宝镇位于福建省漳州市芗城区西部，南面临着九龙江西溪，北面背靠天宝大山。[2]

1954年设天宝乡，1960年起为人民公社，1984年改设镇。[2] 芗城区政府2023年12月发布的行政区划资料列出，全镇辖14个社区和11个村委会，其中大房白花、大房院山两个社区由高新区代管。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

镇名的来历有一段传说：宋大中祥符年间（1008至1016年），当地渔民邱鄯在九龙江中拾得一颗宝珠，将它献给郡守王冕，再转呈朝廷，朝廷因此赐名天宝。这一说法见于明嘉靖年间的《漳州府志》。[3]

地理环境[edit]

天宝镇在芗城区西部，南临九龙江西溪，北依天宝大山。319国道与厦蓉高速公路（G76）穿境而过。[2]

人口[edit]

据区划地名网，全镇2000年第五次全国人口普查时常住人口为45683人，2010年第六次全国人口普查时为43309人。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

林语堂纪念馆在珠里村一带的虎形山香蕉林中，2001年10月8日开馆，是大陆地区第一座纪念林语堂的场馆，馆区占地10亩。[4][5]

林语堂文化园景区是芗城区政府列出的旅游景点之一。[6]

大寨村境内有天宝古寨。明清时期此处曾建土寨，后毁坏；清乾隆年间改用石料筑寨，称天宝寨。[7]

洪坑村的古民居布局完整，主体为一字排开的七座大屋，区划地名网也将洪坑村古民居列为镇内景点。[8][2]

茶铺社区原为茶铺畲族村，村内的乐仁堂祖祠为燕尾式建筑，建成于康熙十九年（1680年），保存完整。[9]
