浦南村是浦南镇下辖的行政村，位于镇区北侧，东傍九龙江北溪，西依石鼓山，北接双溪村。村辖何厝、水潮、南星3个自然村，设6个村民小组。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村处九龙江北溪之南，“浦”有水边之意，又在浦南镇腹地，因此取名浦南。[1]
经济与镇村关系[edit]
村子临近镇区与浦南圩，是镇村结合的区域，农业以蔬菜、荔枝、龙眼为主，并兼营餐饮、肉类销售等。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
解放前此地即为浦南镇所在。解放后仍属旧浦南镇的范围，公社化以后设浦南大队，归浦南公社管辖，此后改称浦南村。[1]
2000年，原浦南村被拆分为三个村，仍沿用原村名。[1]
荣誉[edit]
福建省爱卫办当年11月将浦南村列入「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
