渡东村是浦南镇“过溪片”的行政村，位于九龙江北溪东岸，东与长泰县城接壤，西临九龙江北溪，北邻华安县丰山镇。村辖7个村民小组。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村位于九龙江东岸，往来要靠渡江，故名渡东。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明清时期，此地隶龙溪县廿三、四都松州堡；民国时为浦南区溪渡保。解放后归第八区溪园乡，1958年改属星火公社。[1]
1960年，村子划属长泰古农农场；1961年又转入漳州市浦南公社，成为渡东大队；1984年才改设村委会。[1]
人文[edit]
村中有李氏祠堂，内供奉开漳将领李伯瑶和李光地的神像。据博雅地名网所载，唐总章二年李伯瑶在此一带立下战功，战后携家眷落居当地，其后裔分布于台湾、浙江及闽南一带。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2020年12月，村入选「2020年福建省森林村庄」名单。福建省爱卫办当年11月将渡东村列入「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
