谢坑村是浦南镇东南部的行政村，与龙文区接壤，南靠漳龙高速。村辖谢坑、招前、南塘、后湖4个自然村，设8个村民小组。[1]
地名由来[edit]
早年华安、长泰及龙溪县浦南一带前往漳州城，都要经过此地。古道旁的村民在坑垅处设茶水与点心铺供行人歇脚，闽南话“吃”与“谢”音近，遂名谢坑。[1]
经济[edit]
村民多在家劳作，经济以养殖业为主，兼有毛竹、蔬菜、果树、甘蔗等农作物。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村地在明清时属龙溪县廿三、四都陈宏堡。民国期间归浦南区园坑保管辖。解放后，它成为第八区鳌浦乡的一部分，1958年纳入星火公社。[1]
1961年设谢坑大队，隶属漳州市浦南公社，1984年改为村委会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2024年1月，村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
